GEORGE CLOONEY--BABYHATER
This self-serving member of the 'Celeb Seven' actively enabled Saddam Hussein and offered encouragement to those who sought to kill our troops, and Iraqi children

Besides George Clooney, who else is a foolish, self-serving Celeb Seven babyhater?

(Click on your Fool of Choice for specifics.  Click here to get back to the "Babyhater Main Page.")

It's hard to determine motives, but George Clooney may have had two driving him to support Saddam vis-a-vis our troops.  First, he was after the publicity, as are many celebrities.  His second motivation may have been his affinity for the lifestyle of Saddam Hussein.  The dictator lived the life of opulence on the backs of the hard work of the citizens of Iraq; George Clooney lives a similar lifestyle on the backs of his adoring fans.   Perhaps he identified.  What ever his reason, he has earned the right to be called a 'Famous Fool.'

Here are some of the foolish things Clooney had to say against our troops and the war for the liberation of Iraq:

  • "We [US troops] can't beat anyone anymore." (Clooney was patently wrong here.  Our troops did a great job.)

  • "...there's no connection between al-Qaeda and Iraq."  (Again, Clooney was totally wrong.  All sorts of al-Qaeda operatives were captured, and an actual US passenger plane used to train al-Qaeda hijackers was seized.)

  • "[All we're going to do in Iraq is] ...we're going to kill a lot of innocent people."  (Clooney was wrong again.  Iraqi citizens celebrated the great work of our troops in the streets for liberating their country from a cruel dictator.)

  • Commenting on North Korea, which Clooney considers the real problem:  "They [US military] could level it [Korea]."  Clooney criticized the US Government for going after the terrorists in Iraq, while not bombing Korea first, because Korea already had missiles and bombs that could reach Seattle. (Well, diplomacy is so far working in Korea (without Clooney's bombs), and liberation worked in Iraq (without Clooney's blessing).

  • Clooney was wrong on all counts listed above, but he did get the self-serving publicity he so frantically sought.  Something else that he accomplished--he and his whining buddies (the Celeb Seven) did manage to help get a couple officers of the 101st Airborne murdered by the disgruntled soldier who was just following Clooney's lead in protesting the war.  Some people do not care who gets hurt, or dies, as long as they get their share of publicity.  Clooney and his Celeb Seven got their share of notoriety, but they have blood on their hands.

Clooney's Credentials:

Because Clooney is so anxious to criticize our troops and change our government through voter nullification, perhaps we ought to take a look at his credentials:

  • According to published articles, Clooney's father felt that his son did poorly in high school.  Clooney was, however, known for his excellent portrayal of the Easter Bunny.

  • Clooney did even worse in college, dropping out his first year.

  • Clooney failed next as a broadcast journalist.

  • Again according to published articles, Clooney next sold insurance door to door, did caricatures in a mall, and sold lemonade.

  • Finally, Clooney, found success as a professional liar/ pretender (he took up acting).

Clooney's Other Recent Problems:

  • Clooney has recently been taken to task by Bill O'Reilly for his allegedly poor handling of his responsibilities regarding  the distribution of the funds he helped collect after 911.

  • Clooney was taken to task by Charton Heston's spokesperson after a particularly mean-spirited comment about Heston's terminal illness.  The spokesman said that it was obvious in Clooney's case "class does skip a generation," referring to George Clooney's highly-repsected aunt, Rosemary Clooney.

  • George Clooney was responsible for a boycott of Entertainment Tonight due to ET's indirect involvement with Hard Copy (the parent company of both is Paramount).  Clooney did not like the way his girl friend was treated by Hard Copy, so he struck out at ET.  Apparently George Clooney can dish it out, but he can't take it.  What a wimp.

What to do:

  • If you respect freedom, democracy, fairness and decency; and if you wish to show respect for our brave troops; then you should avoid all of George Clooney's 'artistic' endeavors.

Is it possible?  Rumor has it that Uday and Saddam are hiding out weekends in George's mansion!

Why I Label the Celeb Seven 'Babyhaters'

They are self-serving babyhaters because these celebrities have jumped on the pro-Saddam voter nullification bandwagon in order to promote their careers.  Let me explain.

It has long been said that 'there's no such thing as bad publicity'; that 'any publicity is good publicity.'  At least, that's the way it’s always been.  Behavior that would ruin the average person's reputation is like money in the bank for an attention-starved celebrity.

It was that way for Zsa Zsa.  Had your sister married (and divorced) all those men, the neighbors would talk, and she’d probably get fired.  Even punching a cop in the nose didn’t hurt Zsa Zsa.  Elizabeth Taylor said “I do” how many times?  The same is true of Joan Crawford, and many other Hollywood women.

It was not such a good thing for Hollywood men to marry and divorce, so they chose other fan-satisfying usually bad habits.  Dean Martin always had a drink in his hand.  Frank a cigarette.  Sammy sported his trademark long furs, and, of course, a cigarette.

There were some who had such overwhelming personalities that they actually ran away from publicity.  Consider Marlin Brando, James Dean and Elvis in this group.  I could be wrong, but I doubt that any one of these guys ever read a magazine or paper to see if they’d made it.   Then there were a few male stars able to do admirable things well and often enough to garner significant press.  Bob spent more time with the troops than he did on the silver screen.   And there were “Jerry’s kids,” and Dick’s beauty contests.

Aside from icons such as the group above, most of the successful old timers did their things, and got their publicity.  For the most part, as long as the press spelled their names right, all was cool.   As long as they were able to get their faces and names in print, it was almost as good as a marquis feature.  It is not that way anymore.

The old way doesn’t work anymore.  Today a diva can marry 20 men and 10 women, and she still won't make the cover any magazine.  Nor would she be featured on CNN.

Today the stars have their so-called causes, and their radical politics; but the purpose is the same—publicity.

...And while there are many more celebrities who have chosen to promote their names via this route, the ones featured on these pages are the ones whose efforts at self-aggrandizement are the most egregious.  They are the ones who have taken the most active roles in propping up the murdering dictator, and have thereby been responsible for additional torture, murder, and  treachery.  It is clear that had these American celebrities not so actively supported Saddam in his murderous rule, he would most likely have stepped down much earlier, and saved countless Iraqi lives, as well as the lives of our brave service men and women.  Their behavior has been unforgivable, and thinking American citizens should not let them off the hook.

Most of these Celeb Seven babyhaters are entertainers; all are in the industry.  I recommend that Americans boycott all artistic productions which include the participation of these individuals.  They are responsible for some of what Saddam was able to get away with, and we must not allow their self-serving efforts to succeed.

Saddam Hussein Intimidates even CNN

Saddam Hussein and his regime are butchers.  They would maim and kill for the fun of it.  In many ways, they were even more cruel than was Hitler and his SS.  Even CNN (not exactly the bastion of conservatism) has recently admitted that they were scared to death to publish the truth; they feared for their lives.  This is what Eason Jordan (CNN chief news executive) recently had to say about Saddam and CNN's fears with regard to that dictator:

" I came to know several Iraqi officials well enough that they confided in me that Saddam Hussein was a maniac who had to be removed. One Foreign Ministry officer told me of a colleague who, finding out his brother had been executed by the regime, was forced, as a test of loyalty, to write a letter of congratulations on the act to Saddam Hussein. An aide to Uday once told me why he had no front teeth: henchmen had ripped them out with pliers and told him never to wear dentures, so he would always remember the price to be paid for upsetting his boss. Again, we could not broadcast anything these men said to us."  (Click here for the full text of this article.)

These problems have long been known.  Anyone who has taken the time to read anything written on the subject in any major newspaper has to know that Saddam was a babyhater, and a torturer.

Voter Nullification

Whenever a US citizen takes to the street to protest, or incites others to protest, that person is engaged in 'voter nullification,' and thereby opens himself/herself up to as much scrutiny as the public deems necessary.

What do I mean by 'voter nullification'?  With our form of government, a democratic republic, public policy (and law) is established by our elected officials on the basis of our Constitution.   Those who protest the laws of our land, or public policy, have decided that the acts of our duly elected officials must be abrogated solely on the basis of their (the protestors') view of how things ought to be done.  We (you and I) elected those officials, and we have a right and an obligation to carefully scrutinize the motivations and qualifications of those who seek to take the law into their own hands.  Such is the case with the Celeb Seven.  All seven of these celebrities have actively protested against our elected government (in favor of Saddam Hussein), or have at least incited others to protest.  It is incumbent upon you and me not to allow these protestors to change public policy without questioning their behavior, qualifications, and motivations.

The proof that Saddam worked with bin Laden (The Spectator)
By Inigo Gilmore
(Filed: 27/04/2003)

"Iraqi intelligence documents discovered in Baghdad by The Telegraph have provided the first evidence of a direct link between Osama bin Laden's al-Qa'eda terrorist network and Saddam Hussein's regime.

"Papers found yesterday in the bombed headquarters of the Mukhabarat, Iraq's intelligence service, reveal that an al-Qa'eda envoy was invited clandestinely to Baghdad in March 1998.

"The documents show that the purpose of the meeting was to establish a relationship between Baghdad and al-Qa'eda based on their mutual hatred of America and Saudi Arabia. The meeting apparently went so well that it was extended by a week and ended with arrangements being discussed for bin Laden to visit Baghdad."  Click here for full text.

Tim Robbins, Susan Sarandon, Martin Sheen, Sean Penn, Janeane Garofalo and George Clooney have spoken.
